Byron Hill born to musician parents Willie and Beverly Hill, Learned to play piano at the early age of 5. Father Willie Hill was a freelance musician and educator who played with the top musicians of the day: Sammie Davis jr., George Burns, The Temptations, Liza Minnelli, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie and many more.
As a result of the exposure to the top musical talent, Byron absorbed it and began his professional musical career.
At the age of 13 playing in local bars and clubs that required the age limit to be 21yrs of age, he sharpened his skills playing Jazz, Funk, and R&B.
After Graduation from High School, Byron went to Howard University where he got his BA. in Jazz Studies/Piano in Washington D.C.. This is where he learned to write music and started producing many of the local artists around DC.
His first break was remixing the Grammy hit song “In My Bed” by Dru Hill right after graduating from Howard University.
He went on to producing songs with 702, Krazie Bone from Bone Thugs In Harmony, Master P., Ronnie Henson, and many more.
Byron came to China with the Funk master DNote in 2009 and has been playing in Shanghai ever since.
